SEAS School takes a number of proactive measures to protect the safety of our students, staff, and visitors. In addition to regular emergency drills including fire, lockdown, active intruder, and evacuation, our staff receives regular training in First Aid, CPR, AED, and emergency procedures. Our campus is entirely closed by security gates and all parents and visitors must sign in at the office and wear a visitor badge for the duration of their visit.
SEAS follows all Diocesan guidelines to ensure staff and volunteers have undergone a background check and safety training to be in full compliance with the Diocese of Tucson Safe Environment Program.
Harassment and Bullying
SEAS is committed to a safe and civil educational environment for all students, employees, volunteers, and patrons, free from harassment, intimidation, and bullying.
Bullying is defined as unwanted, aggressive behavior that involves a real or perceived imbalance of power (size, physical strength, social status, access to embarrassing information) and happens repeatedly. It is intentional, shows a lack of empathy, is unwelcome, unsafe, disrespectful and unkind, and therefore violates SEAS School rules.
Harassment, including bullying, hazing, intimidation, on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, or for initiation into memberships, or anything which constitutes teasing/taunting consistently, is also prohibited.
If you have an incident to report, please email our school counselor, Mrs. Hebbel, or complete the online Behavior Incident Report below.
